Morning-After Pill [Plan B® One-Step]

Before taking the Morning After Pill, you should understand what it is, what it could mean to your health and how it works. Give us a call and our nurse will be happy to discuss it with you, confirm your pregnancy, and advise you on your options.

WHAT IS IT?

Plan B® One-Step is for use within 72 hours (3 days) after sex. It is not RU-486 the abortion pill.

Things to consider

Emergency contraception is not effective if a woman is already pregnant.
Plan-B isn’t intended to be regular birth control.
The manufacturer warns that Plan B is not recommended for routine use as a contraceptive.
Plan B does not protect against HIV infection (AIDS) and other sexually transmitted diseases.
